1. Scope and agreement
This Acceptable Use Policy forms part of the Terms of Service and applies to all use of Vyach’s bot, website, dashboard and service interfaces. It covers recording instructions, speech submitted for processing, meeting questions and outputs, custom templates and personality prompts, access configuration, exports and billing-related conduct.
You are responsible for your own use and for instructions you are authorised to give. Server operators must take reasonable steps to ensure their configuration and delegated use comply with this Policy. It supplements applicable law and Discord’s Community Guidelines; it does not replace them.
2. Recording and privacy
- Do not record or facilitate recording without the required notice, permissions and lawful basis. Do not bypass consent controls, treat silence or a blocked private message as acceptance, or use administrator permissions to overrule a participant’s refusal.
- Do not relay a non-consenting person’s voice through another account, a bot, a speakerphone or a prerecorded feed. Do not misrepresent the recording’s scope, retention, recipients or AI processing.
- Do not use meeting searches, outputs or archives to stalk, dox, intimidate or retaliate against people, including someone withdrawing consent or exercising a privacy right.
- Do not expose transcripts, private summaries, export tokens, session credentials or another person’s private information to unauthorised recipients. Respect channel access and protect copies you download.
- Do not obstruct a lawful rights request or falsely claim that Discord publication makes personal information immune from deletion or objection rights.
3. Illegal and harmful content
You must not use the Service to create, obtain, transmit or facilitate material or conduct that is unlawful under laws applicable to the activity, including:
- Child sexual abuse or exploitation, grooming, trafficking or other abuse of minors, including sexual exploitation using synthetic material.
- Credible threats, targeted harassment, hateful abuse, incitement to violence, violent-extremist recruitment or assistance with real-world wrongdoing.
- Fraud, phishing, impersonation intended to deceive, credential theft, malware, unauthorised system access or concealment of harmful destinations.
- Infringement of copyright, trademark, confidentiality, publicity or privacy rights, or distribution of content you have no authority to record or disclose.
- Instructions intended to facilitate suicide or serious self-injury, or other unlawful exploitation of vulnerable people.
Lawful discussion, reporting, fictional storytelling and criticism are not automatically prohibited merely because they concern difficult subjects. Context does not authorise actual abuse, unlawful disclosure or content prohibited by Discord or the applicable provider’s legitimate safety rules.
4. Sensitive data and consequential decisions
Do not submit passwords, access tokens, full payment-card information or identity documents through meeting content or prompts. Do not use ordinary Vyach features to process regulated health information, criminal-offence data, biometric identification or other highly sensitive data requiring additional safeguards without an appropriate written arrangement and lawful basis.
Do not present AI output as a verified record when it is not. Do not use it as the sole basis for legal, medical or financial advice, emergency response, or a decision materially affecting employment, education, housing, credit or comparable rights. Any lawful professional use requires independent review and the applicable sector safeguards.
5. Accounts, access and honest billing
- Do not impersonate a participant, server owner, Payer, instance owner, Vyach, Discord or Polar to obtain access or payment.
- Do not share stolen credentials, probe another server’s data, enumerate private resources, exploit an export URL, or bypass revocation, owner checks or Payer restrictions.
- Do not falsely claim adulthood to purchase or authorise charges. Buyers and Payers must be at least 18 and legally able to enter the purchase contract.
- Do not abuse payer invitations as unsolicited messaging, manufacture fraudulent purchases or deliberately submit false payment-dispute claims. Legitimate refunds, withdrawal, complaints and other statutory payment rights remain available.
- Do not evade applicable sanctions, export restrictions or lawful purchasing-country limitations through false information.
6. Service integrity and fair use
Use documented, authorised interfaces within their limits. Do not distribute spam, automate abusive requests, split requests across accounts to evade limits, exhaust audio/storage/AI resources, exploit retries or conduct denial-of-service attacks. The ordinary question limit is one request per person every 30 seconds in addition to quotas and other protections.
Do not manipulate transcripts or prompts to cause unauthorised disclosure, cross-server retrieval or execution of instructions hidden in source content. Do not tamper with processing receipts, deletion safeguards, privacy revisions, backups or consent metadata to restore erased data or enable excluded speakers.
Unauthorised resale, sublicensing, credential-sharing services or misleading white-labelling are prohibited. Reverse engineering or interference with service software is prohibited except where law or applicable open-source licences permit it. Proportionate, authorised integration or security research is not abusive merely because it is automated; the Security Policy defines the available research scope.
7. Server operator duties
Give participants understandable notices before capture, make the Privacy Policy available, set appropriate permission grants and publication channels, and choose a retention period suited to your purposes. Consent preferences may persist between meetings; check that their use remains lawful for your context.
Review important AI outputs before treating them as decisions or assigning tasks. Protect exported data and facilitate legitimate privacy requests. Remember that ordinary channel recipients and authorised instance operators can have access, and that Payer status alone conveys billing authority. Removing the bot is not immediate deletion or guaranteed immediate cancellation.
8. Detection and review limits
Vyach uses technical protections such as consent gating, rate limits, speech-activity filtering, format checks and output validation. AI providers can refuse requests under their own rules. Those controls are not a promise that every meeting is proactively inspected for unlawful content, that every output is safe, or that every violation is automatically detected.
We may investigate a credible report using information reasonably necessary and lawfully available. We do not claim that an automated moderation classifier or universal human review exists merely by publishing this Policy. The availability of a feature does not establish permission to use it unlawfully.
9. Reports, copyright and urgent safety
Report suspected abuse to inbox@vyach.app or request a private contact through our support server. Include the relevant server/user IDs, message or meeting reference, approximate time, a concise description and evidence you may lawfully share. Ask for a private contact before sending sensitive material. Do not redistribute illegal content, credentials or an entire private archive to make a report.
Copyright complaints follow the notice process in the Terms. For immediate danger, use local emergency services and Discord’s safety tools; Vyach is not monitored as an emergency channel. We will preserve, disclose or report information where legally required or otherwise lawfully necessary, including obligations concerning child exploitation when applicable to the operator. This is not a blanket claim of a specific country’s reporting registration.
10. Proportionate enforcement and appeals
Depending on seriousness, reliability of evidence and risk, we may warn, limit affected functions, restrict access to disputed material, suspend or terminate service, remove the bot from an affected server, or notify Discord or a competent authority as law permits or requires. Immediate action can be necessary to contain harm. We will provide an explanation and a correction opportunity where practicable and lawful, without exposing others’ personal data or an investigation.
To contest a decision, email inbox@vyach.app with the affected IDs, action and relevant context. A responsible person will review a reasonably supported appeal; there is no guaranteed reversal or restoration of already erased data. We do not impose automatic forfeiture of a legally required refund or statutory remedy as punishment for a report or dispute.
Consequences remain subject to the Terms, DPA and mandatory law. This Policy does not grant permission to retain material beyond a lawful purpose or defeat a data subject’s rights.
11. Changes and contact
Material changes follow the notice and acceptance provisions of the Terms. The updated date identifies this version. Ask us about a proposed use before sending sensitive data if its lawfulness or support by the ordinary Service is uncertain. Contact: inbox@vyach.app.
